Description
Adaptation of one of the knotwork panels of the "Hilton of Cadboll" Pictish stone, originally found in Easter Ross, Scotland, but now located in the Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh.
The original panel has three lines interwoven together. I have adapted this by increasing the outer number of units and changing the order to make it all one line.
Bealltainn/Bealtuinn in Scots Gaelic; Beltaine in Irish; Anglicised as Beltane, ushers in the light half of the year.
Knotwork: CC2
Colour: Photoshop
Tablet: Intuos4
